The Multiplex Range Of Servers and players are Faster, Quieter And More Fault Tolerant Than Any Other Storage Solution On The Market Today. When Combined With Our Fanless Super Quiet SilverScreenIII Player Module You Can Record Live TV, DVD's CD's, Mp3's As Well as Storing Your Photos And Much More And Access All Of This Content In Real Time From Any Silverscreen III Player On The Network.

The ESP-AV Multi-Media System is at the cutting edge of todays technology. Using only the best possible components we have built a range of storage and playback solutions which are optimised for video & audio content storage and simultaneous multi-user access to stored data. The servers come in a range of sizes from our entry level MultiplexII content server which can store up to 6 terrabytes of movies music and photos (approx 945 feature length DVD's*) all the way up to our MultiplexV Server which can store up to a massive 22 terrabytes of movies music and photos. That's enough to hold approximately 3,500 feature length DVD's* or 35,500* CD's. or a whopping 3,204,000 Mp3 Tracks*.

Our entire range of servers are completely scalable meaning you can use multiple servers in arrays to increase your storage capacity. As an example 10 of our Multiplex V servers in an array would allow you to store 35,000 DVD's* all of which could be accessed from any SilverScreenIII player on the network. The system allows for an unlimited number of players to be connected and supports up to 35 simultaneous users as standard. If you require more than 35 simultaneous users there is an XL option available to all of our servers at additional cost which will increase the network capacity beyond 35 simultaneous users (this assumes you have a suitable network infrastructure in place).

All of our Servers feature hardware RAID 6 data protection which allows for up to 2 drive failures with no data loss, essential for protecting your cherished movie and music libraries.

All of the components in our range are compatible with 110v - 240v Mains 50 or 60hz and all units auto sense the AC power.

*All capacities quoted are approximate and figures may vary according to content. All figures shown assume 1:1 full resolution copies are made of the original disc content including all menus extras and trailers. An average feature length DVD is assumed to be approximately 6.5Gb. Capacity example for Mp3 tracks is approximate and is calculated on 3 minute Mp3 songs being encoded at 320 kbits/sec.

SilverScreen III Player at a glance.

The Silver Screen III is probably the worlds quietest PC. It uses the Heatpipe cooling technology allowing the unit to be completely fanless. It's silence takes nothing away from its power as you can see from the feature list below.

Built to the most exacting standards and fully controllable via Crestron or AMX the Silverscreen III is available in black or silver.

This system is designed to allow 35 simultaneous users to access a shared movie and music library and to store your content in a safe and convenient way to watch and listen with the best possible picture and sound quality however due to legal regulations in the UK we are unable to provide the SilverScreenIII media player or the Multiplex range of media servers with any software that bypasses copy protection or region coding on commercial DVD's Hd DVD's Blu Ray Discs or CD's.

Most commercial titles are copy protected by a copy protection system called CSS, which in most countries is illegal to break. Because of that our system does not remove CSS copy protection, and copying CSS protected discs will fail within the first 5% of the copy.

If you live in a country where bypassing CSS copy protection on discs that you own is legal, or if you wish to copy your DVD content despite what the law in your region says, you can install a tool onto each SilverScreenIII media player that removes copy protection at driver level, thus allowing you copy the contents of a DVD to your Multiplex Server. AnyDVD from SlySoft is one such tool used by many individuals to enable backup of their own DVD collection.

The Multi Media system will automatically download information for DVD's that you add to your collection including Cover Art, Actor /Actress /Director Biographies, MPAA Ratings, Star Ratings, Synopsis, Year Of Release, Genre and more. You can also manage your collection from any Windows based PC or SilverScreenIII Player on the Multiplex Network.
